Envision Outdoor Living Products now offers the Deckfast Fascia System for use with its fascia/skirting boards.
Fascia boards naturally expand and contract, which can lead to waviness as the vertically or horizontally installed fascia boards move against the fasteners. Deckfast addresses this issue to ensure a cleaner, streamlined look.
The Deckfast Fascia System comprises a special fascia tool and color-coated headcote stainless steel or epoxy-coated carbon steel Fascia Screws. The Fascia Tool has a pre-set countersink; pre-drilling with the tool creates an oversized hole that will allow the board to float on the screw to better accommodate expansion and contraction. Once the hole is predrilled, drive the Fascia Screw, which is color-matched specifically to all Envision composite decking colors.
“Envision offers a range of hidden fastening options, and the fascia should not be an exception to a clean appearance,” said Kyle Warwick, fastener category manager and Central Valley division manager for Envision. “With the addition of Deckfast, installers can create a seamless look while accommodating the special needs of the fascia application, ensuring both aesthetics and long-term performance.”
In addition, using the Deckfast Fascia System with Envision cuts the number of fasteners needed for the fascia in half (three fasteners every 16” rather than three fasteners every 8”), saving time while further improving aesthetics.
Deckfast Fascia Screws come in epoxy-coated or stainless steel options in 100-count packs to cover roughly 44 linear feet.
