A taste of innovation from the International Builders’ Show.
The International Builders’ Show drew to a close last week, after some 81,000 people trekked the 728,000 square feet of exhibits.
What was new? It’s an extremely difficult question to answer. But the event organizers reduced the difficulty by creating the New Product Zone. Here are some of the editors-pick highlights of the NPZ:
-

Walls of Troy. Panelized construction walls made of wood-wool/portland cement elements. Troy Walls are water-proof, fire-proof and impact resistant.
-

Zen Doorglass. From Novatech, described as the first doorglass of its kind. It pairs ceramic ink with frosted or clear glass.
-

Simpson Strong-Tie’s Quik Drive Project Pro Screw Driving System. It’s an auto-feed tool that attaches to cordless drill or driver motors without requiring any adaptors.
-

Sherwin-Williams Cashmere UltraWhite interior Acrylic Latex. Updated in January 2025, the paint features the company’s “brightest and purest whites.”
-
