ECI offers fresh BOPIS capabilities
ECI Software Solutions, a cloud-based business management solutions company, released a new Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store (BOPIS) connection for RockSolid Classic Cloud, enabling Do it Best member owners to offer the buying options most desired by their customers.
The pandemic triggered countless trends over the past two years, but one of the biggest developments in shopping has been BOPIS, where customers can shop from the comfort of their homes and go to the store or pickup location once the order is ready, said ECI.
“With the everchanging economic trends impacting our customers, we are dedicated to keeping our finger on the pulse of the market and the challenges impacting them. As we saw shopping trends shifting in the industry, we knew we had to make sure our RockSolid users were equipped with everything needed to meet their customers’ demands,” said John Maiuri, president of the LBMH division at ECI.
Previously offered to Do it Best member customers who leverage RockSolid Max for their operations, ECI has released the same capability to customers who use RockSolid Classic with Cloud enablement.
For hardware and building supply retailers, BOPIS has become a must-have to compete with big retailers, said the firm, and provide flexible shopping experiences for all customers – from DIYers to contractors.
