Versatex makes moves in Texas and Canada
Versatex Building Products is expanding the reach of its PVC architectural trim to builders in Texas and Canada.
The company has signed distribution agreements with the Dallas division of Snavely Forest Products and the CanWel Building Products Group, Ltd., of Canada.
Snavely’s Dallas division will distribute the full Versatex product line to all major Texas markets, according to Versatex sales and marketing VP Rick Kapres.
“This marks our first venture into Texas, and we’re happy to be sharing it with a trusted partner like Snavely, who we have worked with successfully in other markets for years.”
Snavely has already been distributing Versatex products for several years through its locations in Baltimore, Denver, Pittsburgh, Greensboro, North Carolina; and Westminster, Maryland.
Meanwhile, Vancouver-based CanWel Building Materials Group has 16 distribution centers from British Columbia to Newfoundland. The full line of Versatex products will be distributed at 12 of these locations, and an extension of availability to the four other locations may come at a later date.
“Versatex is known for outstanding quality and innovation,” said CanWel’s national product manager, Darryl Pollack. “After working with multiple PVC trim and sheet manufacturers for several years, we found that Versatex is the leader, and the partner we’ve been looking for."
“With their single focus on the category, Versatex can maximize our potential and bring the most value to our customers. We’re excited about joining such a strong distribution partner in serving nearly the entire country. We’re thrilled to enter into this exclusive relationship.”
