USG names a Carrier of the Year

USG Corporation has named Halvor Lines, Inc. as its 2014 Carrier of the Year.

The Carrier of the Year award goes to USG partners who provide superior transportation service to the company and its customers.

USG cited Halvor's 98.7% on-time delivery rating, Consistent Gold ranking on the USG Top 30 Carrier Scorecard, successful delivery of nearly 10,000 shipments last year, excellent service to 16 USG facilities, and more.

Halvor Lines was presented with the award during USG's Annual Awards ceremony at its corporate headquarters in Chicago.
