True Value Reunion is Peyton’s Place

More than 8,000 retailers, vendors and True Value associates are expected to attend the Chicago-based co-op’s 2016 Fall Reunion in Denver Sept. 15-18.

The event kicks off Thursday with the co-op’s Retail Best Practices Conference, during which NFL legend and accomplished businessman Peyton Manning will share leadership lessons learned on and off the field.

The RBPC will feature a full day of discussions and training focused on helping True Value members deliver retail excellence in their stores, the co-op says.

New at the Fall Reunion will be an area called “Assortment City” -- a 35,000 square foot one-stop-shop featuring Reunion-only deals. The program will take its place next to more than 500,000 square feet of products and services. 

On Friday evening, True Value members will experience an action-packed one-hour General Session followed by a Welcome Reception at the National Western Rodeo Complex.

Seventies rock icon and Styx front man Dennis DeYoung will headline the Welcome Reception, leading a six-piece band performing Styx’s greatest hits.

On Friday and Saturday, members can enter to win their choice of an ATV, a snowmobile or a wave runner. The Reunion will feature product demos throughout the show, and members can score giveaways all weekend long.
