'The Profit' himself will speak at True Value event
Business guru and reality TV star with real-world credentials, Marcus Lemonis has been tapped to deliver the keynote address at the True Value Company's 2016 Spring Reunion in Houston.
Lemonis is the host and star of CNBC's television reality show "The Profit," in which he provides expert and often dramatic advice to business owners in a variety of fields. His keyonte is set for Feb. 18, the first day of the three-day Reunion.
“Mr. Lemonis has shown time and again that he knows how to help businesses increase revenue on The Profit," said True Value CEO John Hartmann. "His effective strategies for driving business growth and profitability have helped many businesses in a wide variety of industries, and we look forward to this unique opportunity to learn directly from him at the Retail Best Practices Conference. Our retailers will be just as inspired by Mr. Lemonis’ entrepreneurial spirit in person as they are when watching "The Profit."
When workng with business people, Lemonis bases his advice on a “Three P” principle: people, process and product. He has also found success in the retail world as chairman and CEO of Camping World, the nation’s largest RV and outdoor retailer, and Good Sam the world’s largest RV owner’s operation.
Lemonis’ keynote will come at the beginning of a three-day schedule of training sessions, educational seminars and networking opportunities for True Value member-retailers.
