PRO Group promotes a merchandise manager
Denver-based PRO Group has promoted Channing Miller from the role of marketing & merchandising coordinator to associate merchandise manager.
Miller has been with the company for about a year, coordinating special buys and recruiting new vendors at trade shows and conferences -- responsibilities that she will maintain in her new position.
She will also be responsible for the Pet, Farm/Ag Supply, Automotive, Non-traditional and Seasonal categories, as well as working with additional vendors in Paint Sundries and Lawn & Garden.
“I’m extremely thankful for this opportunity,” Miller said. “To me, the value of independent businesses in our local communities is immeasurable and I love that I can contribute to their success in my day-to-day functions at PRO. I’m ready to commit to this role and continue to strengthen the independent home improvement industry and two-step distribution.”
Previously, Miller worked at Design Resources, Inc. as a licensing coordinator for a sportswear manufacturer.
"Channing has been an asset to PRO Group since her first day," said managing director Shari Kalbach. "Her ability to cultivate relationships with our distributor members and manufacturer partners has helped her grow into the Associate Merchandise Manager position. She is a valuable member of our team and I look forward to her continued success at PRO in her new role as she takes on more responsibility."
