Orgill will move its headquarters

2/20/2018

Orgill, Inc., the Memphis, Tennessee-based hardlines distributor, plans to move its World Headquarters -- but not too far.

The company announced that its board of directors has approved a resolution to move its world headquarters to a new location in east Shelby County, Tennessee, about 2 miles from its existing location.

Orgill plans to construct a new, approximately 100,000-sq.-ft. office building in the town of Collierville. Construction is expected to begin in 2016 with plans to move into the new facility in the fourth quarter of 2017.

Founded in Memphis in 1847, Orgill distributes hardware and home improvement products to customers in all 50 states, 10 Canadian provinces and over 50 countries throughout the world. The World Headquarters provides support to its six North American distribution centers and manages all business activities that extend beyond physical distribution.
