Orgill Nation hits Las Vegas

Las Vegas -- Orgill dealers are descending on the Sands Convention Center and Expo here for the 2016 Orgill Fall Dealer Market.

The Memphis-based hardware distributor's Aug. 25-27 event will once again offer dealers an in-store, hands-on experience in the form of three concept stores. This year's lineup features a Maple Ridge Home Centre, complete with a Canadian assortment; a Continental Hardware & Building Supply, with a pro emphasis; and a Vista Home & Garden Supply, the largest of the lot at 17,500 sq. ft.

On the market floor, Orgill's merchandise team has assembled special-emphasis "Product Showcases." A power-tools demo area, an impulse item showcase, and an Orgill Worldwide Sourcing area will receive the showcase treatment in Las Vegas.

Prior to the official start of the show, Lumbermens Merchandise Corp hosted the LMC Hardware Express. The Aug. 24 event was described as an opportunity to "network with key suppliers and LMC staff."
