Orgill Canada acquires Chalifour

Orgill Canada Hardlines, a wholly owned Canada-based subsidiary of Memphis, Tennessee-based Orgill, Inc., announced the completion of the purchase of the hardware assets of Chalifour Canada Ltd from TIM-BR MART Group.

The deal was first announced in August.

The focus of the company, according to Orgill’s announcement, will be on providing Canadian building material and hardware entrepreneurs a competitive foothold against big box stores in Canada.

Purchased assets include Chalifour Canada’s London, Ont. distribution center, as well as the hardware inventory in Chalifour’s Surrey, B.C. facility.  All Canadian distribution and retail services previously provided by Orgill, Inc. and Chalifour Canada are now operating as Orgill Canada.
