Huttig hires GM for Columbus, Ohio

Matt Thompson joined Huttig Building Products as Columbus General Manager.



He comes to Huttig with more than 20 years of sales and leadership experience within the building materials industry. Previously, Thompson worked as a VP and as a GM in the Columbus market for five years with Palmer Donavin/Seal-Rite Door. While there, he was responsible for growing sales, strategic planning, controlling purchasing, improving production departments and managing 250 employees. He oversaw the relationships with Home Depot, Lowes, 84 Lumber, Window World, and others.
