ENAP honors vendors of the year

West Windsor, New York-based ENAP announced its 2014 Building Products Vendors of the Year in four main building products categories.

The member-owned forest products and building materials cooperative will present the awards during it's 48th Annual Meeting and Trade Show at the Gaylord Palms in Kissimmee, Florida, March 25 - 27, 2015. Vendors are evaluated on a variety of criteria including sales growth, gross margin improvement, customer support and product quality.

The honorees are:

• Makita USA, Specialties Department;

• Dow Building Solutions, the Commodities Department;

• Garden State Lumber, the Millwork Department; and

• MasterBrand Cabinets, the Kitchen and Bath award.

“These four vendors continue to support the co-op and its members and strive to reach outstanding sales goals," said Tom Molloy, vice president, building products. "The awards are a testament to the hard work and focus of our sales teams and of these supporting vendors.”

The co-op's trade show will take place while ENAP is going through a major merger. ENAP has announced its intent to merge with lumber and building materials cooperative PAL pending approval by the shareholders of both cooperatives as well as satisfactory completion of due diligence. Collectively, ENAP and PAL will operate out of three locations in New Windsor, N.Y., Grand Rapids, Mich., and Monroe, La.

According to both companies, the new entity will further utilize these locations to provide a national footprint with regional expertise as it continues its geographic expansion.
