Do it Best hosts vendors in Fort Wayne

Do it Best Corp. held an Open Buying Day, welcoming prospective domestic and international vendors to the co-op’s Fort Wayne, Indiana, headquarters, the co-op announced.

The event enabled Do it Best Corp. merchandise managers to meet one-on-one with prospective vendors interested in doing business with the co-op and its member-owners. The products presented as part of this year’s Open Buying Day covered a wide range of product categories. 

“Discovering new vendors and products is an important part of our goal in helping our members grow and achieve their dreams,” said Steve Markley, VP of merchandising for Do it Best Corp. “Our Open Buying Day event provides an excellent venue for our merchandising team to meet with potential new vendors, learn more about their offerings and explore innovative product opportunities for our members. We have built great vendor partnerships through past Open Buying Days, and we expect similar results from this year’s event.”
