Costello's opens up a new Long Island location

Costello’s Ace Hardware has expanded in Long Island with a new location in Melville, N.Y.

The Melville store, located at 720 Walt Whitman Road, will mark the chain's 29th location.

“The Costello’s team is delighted to be opening our newest store in Melville, N.Y.,” said Michael Costello, CEO of Costello’s Ace Hardware. “The neighborhood has been without a local hardware store for nearly two decades. The 11,000-sq.-ft. store was previously a home window finishings store, and it will now feature a full selection of hardware categories like plumbing, lighting, and lawn and garden; as well as an extensive selection of premium grills, including Weber, Traeger Wood Pellet Grills and Big Green Egg.

Customers will also find other top brands, including Yeti and Craftsman hand and power tools, as well as The Paint Studio at Ace.



A grand opening for the store will take place in September 2017.

Costello's was founded in 1976 and has stores all over Long Island, northern New Jersey, Maryland and Brooklyn.
