Costello’s Ace Hardware celebrates growth
Costello’s Ace Hardware will celebrate a pair of grand openings in April, expanding the retailer’s footprint to 25 stores.
A store in North Bellmore, New York, will celebrate a grand opening with an event April 8-10. North Bellmore is on New York’s Long Island, where most of the Costello’s stores are located. The store had a “soft launch” last year and is already one of Costello’s highest trafficked locations, the company said.
“Our loyal customer base has enabled us to expand Costello’s Ace into new markets like Bellmore, and we are excited to offer our services to such a wonderful community,” said Dan Costello, Vice President of Category Management/Marketing/IT of Costello’s Ace. “We are fortunate to have incredibly loyal customers at all of our locations, and look forward to welcoming our Bellmore neighbors into our new location to celebrate the grand opening!”
The company’s 25th store will open in Lincoln Park, New Jersey, with a weekend event April 15-17. At 30,000 square feet, the store at 261 Comly Road in Lincoln Park is the largest of all Costello’s locations
“Everyone on the Costello’s Ace team is excited to be a part of the local Lincoln Park community,” said Michael Costello, Costello’s Ace Hardware President. “We decided to expand into Lincoln Park after seeing the need for an independent retailer in the area. We look forward to welcoming our neighbors into the new store, and invite everyone to join us as we celebrate our grand opening!”
On Saturday, April 16, Costello’s will also hold their infamous “Dirt Cheap” sale, where consumers can purchase four 40-pound bags of topsoil for only five dollars.
