Boral expands to additional BlueLinx DCs

Boral is expanding its TruExterior Trim and Siding products to two new BlueLinx locations in Illinois and Iowa.

The addition of the University Park, Illinois, and Des Moines, Iowa, distribution centers will allow Boral to better serve customers in Northern Illinois, Wisconsin and Iowa.

“As we continue to develop new products – including various siding profiles – to fit market demand, BlueLinx has committed to offering the entire breadth of the Boral TruExterior product line,” said Steve Schulz, regional sales manager for the Plains Region. “I am excited to have such a reputable distributor in these markets that is focused on long-term, mutually beneficial results.”

BlueLinx has been ramping up its distribution of TruExterior in the Upper Midwest since earlier this year through the Maple Grove, Minnesota, warehouse, which provides stock in the Des Moines and Wausau, Wisconsin, outlets.
