Belair Road Supply celebrates 100 years

Baltimore-based Belair Road Supply celebrated its 100-year anniversary on January 4, kicking off the new year with a centennial celebration.

The distributor is a family-owned and operated construction trade supplier serving the Mid-Atlantic region.

Founded by the grandfather of current president Bud Adams, Belair Road Supply is also currently staffed by Bud's son, Mark Adams, as VP, and daughter, Stephanie Germano, as CFO.

The company started out as a supplier of feed and grains to Baltimore City hospitals and government agencies and has expanded into a major supplier of water and sewer, masonry, stone, hardscapes and industrial tools and products.

“Our firm is the area’s largest paver distributor and have supplied the majority of the clay sewer pipe for all major projects from Gwynn Falls to Jones Falls,” said Bud Adams, president of Belair Road Supply since 1970. “However, the thing I am most proud of is the long tenure of so many employees at our firm.  We truly are a family here.” 

Belair Road Supply has five locations – three in Maryland, the Baltimore headquarters, White Plains and Westminster; and two in Delaware, in Frankford and Middletown.
