Amerhart expands in St. Louis

Amerhart Limited, an independent, family owned distributor of building materials, acquired Lumberyard Supply Co., based in St. Louis, Missouri.

Based in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Amerhart operates out of eight locations in the Midwest.

From its newest location, Amerhart will serve lumberyard and industrial customers in Missouri, providing training and support in addition to selling and distributing top brands of building materials, the company said.

“We are always excited about bringing our legacy of serving the building industry to new markets,” said Mark Kasper, president and CEO of Amerhart. “In addition to cultivating the close customer relationships Lumberyard Supply has established, we look forward to leveraging our unique blend of product and service capabilities to help grow the building industry in, and have a positive impact on, communities across Missouri.”

Amerhart plans on retaining many of the top product lines sold by Lumberyard Supply, as well as adding Trex decking and railing, RDI railing, FastenMaster fasteners, and Grace roofing products, among others.
