Ace appoints a retail training chief
Ace Hardware Corporation has tapped a former Lowe's executive to be in charge of its retail training program.
Lisa Doyle, former VP Learning and Development at Lowe's, will now serve as Head of Retail Training for Ace.
She will report to Brian Wiborg, Vice President of Marketing, Retail Training and Store Operations.
Doyle also worked at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as the Chancellor of the Veterans Affairs Acquisition Academy. In 2011, she was named Chief Learning Officer of the Year by CLO Magazine, Inc.
“We are thrilled to welcome Lisa to the Ace Hardware management team,” said Brian Wiborg. “Lisa will lead all aspects of how we train, develop and motivate more than 100,000 Ace store associates throughout the world, to ensure we consistently deliver our brand promise to be the most helpful hardware stores on the planet.”
