Derby Building Products names new Mid-Atlantic sales manager

Quebec City, Quebec-based building materials manufacturer Derby Building Products has appointed Patrick McKernan as territory sales manager - home improvement retail (HIR) for the Mid-Atlantic Region. 

In his new position, McKernan will play a critical role in expanding Derby's penetration into Home Depot’s U.S. stores with Novik Stone, the stone siding brand.

"We’re confident that Patrick’s industry knowledge and sales experience will enable him to quickly drive growth in his market.”  

McKernan brings over three years of experience in the home improvement industry. 

His previous roles include working at East Coast Roofing Systems, an exterior remodeling company where he worked with homeowners, contractors, and property management companies while addressing residential and commercial roofing needs.

He also previously worked at Colonial Electric Supply, an independent, family-owned electrical distributor.

Residents of Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania, Derby said that McKernan and his wife are expecting a baby in late spring. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, golfing, and is a Philadelphia sports enthusiast.
