Representatives from 84 Lumber display their National Prefered Parter award from David Weekley Homes.
David Weekley Homes, one of the nation's largest privately held home builders, announced the winners of its 19th annual National Preferred Partner Survey.
The award recognizes field and manufacturing partners who have consistently operated at world-class levels, as determined by the home builder's supplier evaluation platform. A comprehensive process, anchored by the National Preferred Partner Survey, evaluates companies in the areas of quality and customer service, according to David Weekley Homes.
"At David Weekley Homes, we pride ourselves on providing the best products and service to our customers," said John Schiegg, vice president of supply chain services at David Weekley Homes. "Thanks to our strong partnerships with our exceptional National Preferred Partners who exemplify the same high standards and help us combat supply challenges, we've been able to maintain that reputation."
Among this year’s winners is 84 Lumber, the Eighty Four, Pennsylvania-based lumber and building materials dealer.
“We are pleased to have been recognized once again by David Weekley Homes as a National Preferred Partner,” said Billy Ball, national vice president of national sales at 84 Lumber. “Their continued focus on quality, standards, and customer service goes hand in hand with 84 Lumber’s own values and our commitment to those we serve.”
Based in Houston, Texas, David Weekley Homes operates in 19 cities across the U.S.
84 Lumber was among 123 companies evaluated this year, and only 20% achieved the designation of National Preferred Partner. The privately-owned dealer operates 310 facilities which include stores, component manufacturing plants, custom door shops, and engineered wood product centers in 35 states.
“84 Lumber consistently goes above and beyond to help us exceed the expectations of our homebuyers,” said Schiegg. “We are proud to recognize 84 Lumber as a National Preferred Partner.”
