Cornerstone Building Brands closing Oregon location

The move affects 76 employees, per a filing with the state.

Cornerstone Building Brands, which bills itself as the "largest manufacturer of exterior building products in North America," is shuttering its location in Tualatin, Ore. According to a WARN listing posted on Oregon's Rapid Response Activity Tracking System, the facility located at 10255 Spokane Ct in Tualatin, Ore., will close "permanently." The filing says employees were notified on October 15, 2024, "and are expected to be separated from employment beginning on December 20, 2024, with all separations accomplished by no later than April 30, 2025."

According to the WARN notice, "There is no union representation at this facility. Company provisions for transfer, bumping, or reassignment do not exist."

Based in Cary, N.C., Cornerstone Building Brands says it has an estimated 18,000 employees at manufacturing, distribution and office locations throughout North America.
