The Home Depot noted it will host its first-ever Corporate Career Day, a virtual event on Tues., Nov. 30, 2021, from 1-4:30 p.m. EST.
The event is open to external jobseekers of all levels and career interests, the retailer noted. They will learn what it’s like to work at The Home Depot, hear from leaders and explore career opportunities.
“Every day we focus to make The Home Depot one of the best places to cultivate a long-lasting career,” said Eric Schelling, vice president of global talent acquisition.
An opening keynote will be followed by 30-minute ‘Lightning Talks’ throughout the afternoon, covering topics such as: Meeting Customer Expectations; Tools to Optimize Your Operations Career; Entrepreneurial Spirit in Tech; and many more – all hosted by company officers.
“Our culture is our competitive advantage built by our core values,” Schelling pointed out, “and this event will provide a chance to introduce jobseekers to the ecosystem of career opportunities at The Home Depot.”
The retailer noted that it offers a wide range of health and personal benefits, including paid parental leave, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, tuition reimbursement, a discount company stock purchase program, and a company performance-based bonus program.
