Carr Hardware pops up in Google film

Carr Hardware and the City of Pittsfield, Mass., are featured in Google’s new film "Trillions of Questions, No Easy Answers."

The one hour film shows how Google Search actually works, covering things like where Google came from, how search keeps getting improved, and more -- with lots of scenes from the folks at google who make the big decisions. The film has already been seen by over 54 million YouTube viewers. Watch the section about Google Ads when they take a trip to the local hardware store, Carr Hardware in Pittsfield, Mass.

The movie makers also produced a mini film focusing on Carr Hardware and the city of Pittsfield.

“We were thrilled and honored to have been selected to be part this incredibly interesting and well done educational film.” said Carr Hardware President Bart Raser.

Carr Hardware & Supply Company, Inc. was founded in 1928 by Sam Carr. In 1962, the Raser family purchased the business and continues to operate it today. Carr Hardware stores are located in Pittsfield, Lee, Lenox, Great Barrington, and North Adams in Massachusetts and Avon and Enfield in Connecticut.
