Cameron Ashley names new regional sales VP

Cameron Ashley Building Products announced that Jay Cole has the distributor as Regional Sales Vice President - Southeast.

The Greenville, S.C.-based company said Cole will be responsible for building and executing regional sales strategies while developing its sales team for both personal growth and business success. 

“Jay’s experience and expertise in this industry is invaluable and comes at a pivotal moment in our company’s growth,”  said Donny DeMarie, president and CEO of Cameron Ashley Building  Products. “His Play to Win spirit will make him a valuable asset to both our sales team and our amazing customers.”

Cole joins the company with more than 20 years of experience in sales and management positions. He arrives at Cameron Ashley from Allura Fiber Cement Products where he held numerous positions and most recently served as national sales manager. 

The new Cameron Ashley vice president Jay began his building materials industry career at Norandex Building Materials Distribution (now ABC Supply) working his way up from a builder account manager to a district sales manager. 

Cameron Ashley operates a network of more than 45 distribution centers, offering customers roofing, insulation, gypsum, siding, and other specialty building products.
