California Faucets Descanso series embraces ‘industrial chic’

California Faucets has enhanced the “industrial chic” style of the popular Descanso bath series with a new Wheel Handle option. 

Hearkening back to the cool vintage vibe of mid-century valve handles, the new Wheel Handle is an incomparable ergonomic and aesthetic choice. A spoked wheel design and comfortable scalloped edge make the wheel easy to grip and turn. Plus, the wheel handle is available in a dramatic new "Red" powder coat finish, adding yet another striking finish option for the Descanso series.

“We treasure-hunted for old valves and had countless samples shipped to us as inspirations as we homed in on the final design. The result is a perfect blend of practical function and industrial edge,” says Jeff Silverstein, California Faucets CEO.

California Faucets developed the new Red powder coat finish specifically for the new Wheel Handle design. The fire engine red hue adds a “mechanical” feel, calling to mind industrial pipes. 

Matte Black is another finish that’s particularly striking in the Wheel Handle design, not to mention trending in today’s interiors. While black and red may be the most dramatic finish choices, designers and homeowners may still select from more than 28 artisan finishes, including 14 PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) finishes with a lifetime warranty against tarnishing.

The Descanso series lavatory faucet with Wheel Handle, and all coordinating products, are made with California Faucets’ signature solid brass construction. In addition to the widespread faucet with a choice of 6” arc spout or 5-7/16” low profile spout, Wall or Deck Handle Trim handles are also available, giving designers and architects everything they need to continue a cohesive look throughout shower and tub as well.
