Business Excellence: Julie Rowan

Julie Rowan is the senior business analyst for Belco Forest Products.

Describing her job she said, in a nutshell, she gathers, dissects and disseminates information to the leadership team to help make strategic decisions.

Prior to her current role, Julie worked in inventory control, sales and marketing. She attributes her success today to starting at the bottom 15 years ago.

Her Excel skills and understanding of our business, said Julie, has helped her create a number of tools and reports that have improved the efficiency of their operations, most notably the forecast-based scheduling tool that helps them drive daily inventory, production and sales decisions.
