Business Excellence: April Barringer

April Barringer is the Senior Merchant at Lowe’s Companies.

She started working at Lowe’s in stores, first as a store associate eventually being promoted to the store manager role. She is responsible for managing all aspects of structural lumber, OSB, plywood, and siding. This includes but is not limited to identifying supply chain, negotiating pricing, and marketing.

Additionally, April is developing, training, coaching, and motivating merchants and specialists to help them grow personally and professionally.

April is responsible for developing a handful of associates while managing a multibillion-dollar product category.
