“When the air is clean, it automatically reduces the speed back to regular maintenance speed,” said Broan-NuTone.
Broan-NuTone’s zero-ozone certified air purifier was built using True HEPA filtration and uses what the company called “one of the most comprehensive array of air filtration technologies available.”
This single-room air purifier has advanced auto-sensing technology, automatically detecting Total Volatile Organic Compounds, or TVOCs, and particulates (PM.1, PM.2.5, and PM10).
These are the size of respiratory droplets, dust and pollen, said the firm. “It will automatically increase the fan’s speed to remove detected particles and VOCs.”
Other features include Alexa or Google device connection, built-in ultraviolet light that emits on the surface of the filter and automatic speed reduction.
“When the air is clean, it automatically reduces the speed back to regular maintenance speed, ensuring clean air without sacrificing energy efficiency,” said the company.
Headquartered in Hartford, Wisconsin, Broan-NuTone employs more than 2,500 people around the world, and its automated indoor air quality systems and products are found in more than 110 million homes across the U.S., said the firm.
