Las Vegas lights sign night
The NHS is back in Las Vegas, back in person, and back in action.

It’s time.

Time to roll over to Vegas for the National Hardware Show, which returns to that high-energy city in the desert April 5-7, specifically at the Las Vegas Convention Center’s West Hall.

The NHS said it expects, “hundreds of qualified, high-volume buyers to attend the National Hardware Show to discover new products, browse the latest lines and trends, meet with new and existing vendors, and more.”

By the numbers: NHS published these attendee stats recently on its website: 30% are attending for the first time; 16% of attendees are international; and 19% have a purchasing budget of $5 million+.

NHS sproos Ben, Greg
NHS news: Ben and Greg, founders of sproos!, are here to help renters with their home improvements.

Inventive!

At the show, the return of the HABITAT NEXT stage will feature innovations by inventors, said NHS, “whose products embody how we, as an industry, can deliver new solutions to everyday living.”

Here’s one example NHS provided: Meet the home improvement brand ‘sproos!’ for renters. “Ben and Greg, the founders, are on a mission to sproos! up living spaces and offer a few helping hands to the home improvement experience for renters.”

Vanessa Dawson, founder and CEO of Arber, will bring her plant wellness products’ sweet aroma to the NHS show floor.

In another example, the startup company Arber makes its debut at HABITAT and NHS, and Vanessa Dawson, founder and CEO, brings her line of plant wellness formulations that are, “highly efficacious and truly safe for people, pets, pollinators and the planet.”

Also, inventors take note: The gang from the popular TV show Shark Tank will hold a Pitch Panel on Wednesday, April 6, at 10:30 a.m. at the HABITAT NEXT stage.

Get Corked

There will be a “Cork Boards and Coffee” area with reps who want to connect with manufacturers who need reps in their territories, and with manufacturers who want to post a “Reps Wanted” notice.

Three-Show Monty

This spring, NHS teams with two other shows to draw an even bigger crowd to the party.

“NHS will partner with the Coverings show and IDAExpo, to offer even more buying, selling and networking opportunities to the hardware and home improvement community,” said the NHS. “Use your NHS badge to enter any of the three shows.”

Celeb Alert

If that isn’t enough, NHS has announced that Kevin O’Connor, the host of the award-winning PBS series This Old House and Ask This Old House, and author of The Best Homes of This Old House, will be participating in a variety of activities and events throughout the show. “Don’t miss your chance to join in on the fun,” said NHS.

Chillin’ n Grilin’

And don’t forget the great outdoors. With grill tops sizzling and music cranked, the festive, party-atmosphere of the NHS Backyard outdoor experience returns, as experienced, joyfully, at last fall’s NHS show. Get those hula dance moves warmed up.

Also, there will be a new Lancaster Demo and Deals pavilion for networking opportunities. And there is a Made in USA area for best-in-class products and services, said NHS.

The North American Hardware and Paint Association (NHPA), a trade association dedicated to supporting the interests of the independent home improvement channel, will once again hold the All-Industry Conference in conjunction with the 2022 National Hardware Show. A list of conference events can be found HERE.

Doors swing open on the action at 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, for the three-day event – and the party starts.
