Boise Cascade reported that it has completed its acquisition of Coastal Plywood Company.
First announced in June, the deal includes two manufacturing facilities in Havana, Fla. and Chapman, Ala.
Coastal is a provider of plywood, lumber, and treated wood products throughout the eastern U.S.
Boise has previously reported that it was paying $512 million for Coastal Plywood Company. The deal does not include Coastal’s parent company or timberlands assets.
"We're very pleased to welcome these new associates to the Boise Cascade team," said Nate Jorgensen, CEO of Boise Cascade. "We look forward to serving our customers with this expanded capacity."
Based in Boise, Idaho, Boise Cascade is one of the largest producers of engineered wood products and plywood in North America and a leading U.S. wholesale distributor of building products.
