Boise Cascade recently completed its acquisition of BROSCO.

Boise Cascade’s Building Materials Distribution (BMD) division has purchased a new 120,000 sq. ft. warehouse and distribution facility in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The total property is 9.7 acres and will provide additional storage and service capacity for the Pompano Beach branch.

“We are excited for the opportunity to open this new distribution facility for Boise Cascade and join the West Palm Beach community,” said Chuck Donaldson, Boise Cascade branch manager. “This purchase solidifies our long-term commitment to our valued customers in the South Florida market.”

“This major expansion fits with our strategy of growing in the markets we currently serve to provide deeper depth of quality products along with dependable, consistent service for our customers,” added Jim Wickham, vice president of BMD Eastern Operations.

Boise Cascade has been active in recent weeks. Earlier this month, the company completed its acquisition of New England building products distributor Brockway-Smith (BROSCO) in a $172 million deal.

Last month, Boise Cascade said it is adding a new door shop in the Denver market and announced in May that its BMD division is expanding in Alabama after purchasing a five-acre site.
