BlueLinx names new Nashville GM

BlueLinx Holdings announced that Scott Walker has been appointed as the new general manager for the building products distributor’s Nashville, Tenn. location. 

Walker brings 24 years of industry experience to BlueLinx and most recently served as general manager for Huttig Building Products in California. He also spent 11 years at J&W Lumber.

“The Nashville market presents great opportunities for BlueLinx and I am confident Scott will provide the leadership for the team to be very successful,” said Paul Wetmore, regional vice president of BlueLinx central region.

Based in Marietta, Ga., BlueLinx distributes products to over 15,000 national, regional, and local dealers, as well as specialty distributors, national home centers, industrial, and manufactured housing customers.
