Kodiak Building Partners, based in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, contributed $20,000 to Tunnel to Towers through the Patriot Project to help with long-term support and mortgage-free homes for fallen-first-responder families with young children.

In an open letter to the LBM industry, Steve Swinney, CEO of Kodiak Building Partners and Chairman of Kodiak’s Foundation, announced Kodiak’s Patriot Project, an initiative focused on promoting patriotism, giving back to first responders, and honoring the late Silvio Ferrari of Kodiak’s Freedom Materials. The Patriot Project provided flags to independent building product distributors who wanted to display their patriotism at their locations. Kodiak provided new 4’x6’ American flags to the first 1,000 independent distributors who donated at least $50 to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
