Benjamin Obdyke adds sales pro

Sales role will support pros and dealers throughout Washington state.

Benjamin Obdyke, a leading supplier of moisture management products and
innovations, has hired Will Pearson as its new Sales Associate for Washington state.

Pearson will support builders, remodelers, pro dealers, and distributors throughout the state, providing consulting, product knowledge, installation education, and more. Pearson has a range of expertise in building products and distribution, joining Benjamin Obdyke from Boise Cascade, where he served as a Material Handler, Inside Sales Representative, and, most recently, National Account Field Representative. Prior to that, he was a Yard Operations Lead at Dunn Lumber near Seattle.

“Will’s trajectory in the industry, growing from driving a forklift through various sales roles to serving national accounts, gives him a breadth of experience that will serve him extremely well in his new role at Benjamin Obdyke,” said Ben Buslach, District Sales Manager for Benjamin Obdyke. “He brings an intimate familiarity with our customers and their needs, which will be critical to providing them with solutions and expanding their product portfolios.”

Pearson is looking forward to continuing to grow Benjamin Obdyke’s market share in the region and educating customers on the unique opportunities the company’s products present for the region’s high-end homes and wet climate. “I consider myself an empathetic, active listener, and I pride myself in opening up lines of communication with customers and potential customers,” Pearson said. “I think this approach is a great fit for our products, as we seek to provide ideal systems solutions for each customer and each project.”
