Building products manufacturer Benjamin Obdyke has hired Shay Clark as its newest Inside sales specialist.
Clark will divide his time between existing and new customers, providing purchasing support and product education to contractors, dealers, and distributors.
The new sales specialist spent most of his sales career at Sherwin-Williams, most recently serving as a store manager.
“With seven years of experience serving pros and DIYers in various roles at Sherwin-Williams, Shay brings a customer-centric, low-pressure approach to sales,” said Joe Holcombe, sales director for Benjamin Obdyke. “His passion for providing customers with the ideal, professional solution for their unique project needs is a perfect fit for Benjamin Obdyke’s systems approach that focuses on solutions and performance.”
Clark said he was drawn to Benjamin Obdyke’s culture and product reputation.

Clark will operate from Benjamin Obdyke’s headquarters office outside Philadelphia.
