Behr says its colors “work together to bring harmony in this multifamily property.”
Behr Paint Company has rolled out its BioNature Collection, a nature-based paint color palette that bridges “outdoor and indoor elements, bringing a sense of harmony to any built environment,” said the firm.
“The BioNature Collection offers designers and paint professionals intentional colors that embrace the relationship between indoor and outdoor environments and elevate the human experience for optimal well-being and productivity,” said Erika Woelfel, vice president of color and creative services at Behr.
Americans spend 90% of their lives indoors, according to the Environmental Protection Agency.
These findings were the inspiration behind the Collection, which includes a palette of five color themes that provide the vision for connecting distinctive moods with colors that reflect elements from the natural world.
Those themes are: Restorative White to bring a feeling of serenity; Refreshing Botanics for forest escapes and immersive nature experiences; Coastal Melody, where land meets the water; Soothing Skies, for an ever-changing shift in light, shape and color; and, Connected Earth, with its desert sands, mountain stones and clays.
“We recognize the restorative effects of connecting commercial spaces where we work, eat, play, learn and more with the natural world,” said Woelfel.
Founded in 1947 and based in Santa Ana, California, Behr Paint Company, a subsidiary of Masco Corporation, manufactures paints, primers, decorative finishes, stains, surface preparation and application products.
