Beacon acquires waterproofing distributor
Amid ongoing efforts to push back against QXO's hostile takeover attempt, Beacon has landed an acquisition.
The company has acquired DM Figley Company, Inc. (DM Figley). DM Figley, headquartered in Menlo Park, California, is a wholesale distributor of sealants, waterproofing and concrete repair materials, serving customers throughout California with additional locations in Anaheim, Oakland, Sacramento and San Diego.
“Since 1970, DM Figley has been synonymous with providing quality products for the construction professional, including sealants, waterproofing, epoxies, protective coatings and repair systems. We take pride in our gold-level service, positioning our company as the go-to resource for product information and updates. By combining forces with Beacon’s Waterproofing team, we will join a multi-platform business with a broader geographic footprint, enabling us to better serve customers and create opportunities for our team members,” commented Janet DiGioia, DM Figley’s CEO.
