Building products distributor Beacon announced that it has acquired Complete Supply, Inc.

Complete Supply is an independent distributor of residential roofing and exterior building supplies to contractors and home builders in Willowbrook, Ill. Founded in 1985, Complete Supply also offers a variety of services.

According to Beacon, Complete Supply has built a legacy of serving customers’ needs for residential and complementary products in the greater Chicago market.

Beacon said this move expands its presence in Chicago and will allow for enhanced service levels to our customers.

The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

“We believe the alignment of our values with Beacon’s will enable us to continue building upon our past successes with enhanced levels of service into the future,” said Eric Meinke, president of Complete Supply. “The team and I look forward to continuing to serve our loyal customers, who we have built trusted relationships with over the last 37 years.

Jake Gosa, president of Beacon’s North Division said, “Expanding our depth of service in the Chicago market will bring Complete Supply customers the opportunity to benefit from our digital solutions, TRI-BUILT product line and the Beacon OTC network.”

Earlier this year Beacon placed more emphasis on the TRI-BUILT private label brand, including the unveiling of a new logo and catalog.

“With this acquisition, we continue to expand our footprint and drive toward achieving our Ambition 2025 growth targets,” Gosa added.

In April, Beacon acquired Wichita Falls Builders Wholesale in North Texas. That move was preceded by the opening of a new distribution center in California and a new branch in Wisconsin.

Based in Herndon, Va., Beacon operates more than 400 locations in the United States and Canada.

Last month, Beacon reported first quarter 2022 net sales increased 28% to $1.69 billion, a company record for the first quarter, compared to sales of $1.32 billion in the first quarter a year ago.
