LXT Cordless Rivet Tools from Makita U.S.A.
New rivet tools are capable of pulling aluminum, steel and stainless steel rivets.
Makita U.S.A., Inc., has announced two new 18V LXT Brushless Cordless Rivet Tools (XVR01 and XVR02) for assembly and construction needs.
The 18V LXT Brushless Cordless Rivet Tools provide power, speed, and convenience to the application, according to Makita.
The XVR01 installs rivets up to 3/16” and features a 25mm stroke that sets most rivets in one stroke. The XVR02 installs rivets up to 1/4” and features a 30 mm stroke that sets most rivets in one stroke.
Both rivet tools are capable of pulling aluminum, steel and stainless steel rivets. The BL Brushless Motor delivers 10 kN of pulling force on the XVR01 and 20 kN of pulling force on the XVR02.
The tools hold the rivet in place allowing the user to operate in any orientation. A transparent mandrel catch container provides convenient viewing of the container level. Ergonomically designed handles provide increased comfort and reduced operator fatigue. A built-in L.E.D. light illuminates the work area.
The Makita LXT Cordless System is powered by 18V lithium-ion slide-style batteries.
