Arrow Fastener has appointed David Donald as vice president of operations.
“David’s expertise in leading large global operations make him a perfect fit for our company’s needs,” said Roberto Izaguirre, chief operating officer for Arrow Fastener.
Donald has worked in the industry for over 35 years, said Arrow Fastener, most recently, in his previous position at Stanley Black & Decker, he was responsible for the development and execution of the industrial business footprint strategy of its 65 global manufacturing sites.
Passionate about creating world class manufacturing facilities that are safe, said the company, his skills include team building, leadership development, supply management, global sourcing, manufacturing operations, engineering management, strategic planning and more.
He started his career as a quality control technician, and over time worked his way up to become an operations leader, a director of operations, a vice president of global operations, and a vice president of global manufacturing strategy – industrial, said the firm.
Donald holds a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, as well as several related licenses and certifications.
“David brings years of experience and expertise in global manufacturing which will serve him well as he takes on his new responsibilities,” said the company.
Founded in 1929, Arrow Fastener, LLC is a U.S. based manufacturer of staple guns, glue guns and rivet tools, and is in Saddle Brook, New Jersey.
