Andersen taps CEO to lead board
Andersen Corporation has appointed Chris Galvin, chief executive officer, as chairman of the Andersen Corporation board of directors.
Galvin succeeds Jay Lund, who has served as chairman of the board since 2013. Lund, who retired from Andersen in 2022 after 37 years, was the company's chief executive officer from 2011-2022.
"Jay is an extraordinary leader who dedicated nearly 40 years of his career to Andersen, driving unprecedented growth and fortifying the company's industry leading position. His visionary approach and legacy of servant leadership will have a lasting impact on the company," said Donald Allan, Jr., lead independent director, Andersen Corporation board of directors. "Chris is undoubtedly the right leader to steward the next phase of transformational growth for Andersen, unlocking the full potential of the business with the full support of our dedicated board."
Galvin, who has been with Andersen for more for than 20 years, has served as the company's president and chief executive officer since 2023. He joined the Andersen Corporation board of directors in 2023.

Galvin also currently serves on the Andersen Corporate Foundation board of directors as well as the boards of the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation and First State Bank and Trust.
