The Andersen Corporate Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of its spring 2024 grant round. The foundation announced grant commitments totaling more than $1.17 million to 87 nonprofit organizations in its first of two grant rounds this year.

As part of this $1.17 million, the Andersen Corporate Foundation has approved $100,000 in a multi-year commitment to support Solid Ground’s Building Strong Foundations campaign. Solid Ground, based in White Bear Lake, Minn., helps families in the East metro area transition to a higher-level of self-sufficiency and break the cycle of homelessness and poverty for the next generation. Campaign funds will be focused on three pillars: renovations at their East Metro Place location, affordable housing and for capital reserves.

“We are thrilled to support nearly 90 organizations in our spring grant round, as well as contribute to Solid Ground’s Building Strong Foundations campaign. Solid Ground’s work in helping families build brighter futures aligns with our mission to improve lives and strengthen communities. By continuing to invest in affordable housing, we can create a lasting positive impact in the Twin Cities area and beyond,” said Eliza Chlebeck, vice president of communications and community at Andersen.

The Andersen Corporate Foundation was established in 1941 with the mission to improve lives and strengthen communities where Andersen employees live and work. Since then, the foundation has donated over $70 million to worthy causes in the areas of housing, health, hunger relief and education.

As part of each grant round, the foundation works with employee committees at multiple locations across the U.S., enabling Andersen’s local teams to make the impact they feel is most helpful in their community.
