Ames 'seals the deal', adds experienced leadership
Ames Research Laboratories, based in Salem, Ore., a manufacturer of eco-friendly rubberized, elastomeric waterproof sealants, has appointed Gary Pickett and Carl Sabo to its executive team.
“The appointment of Gary Pickett as chief operating officer and Carl Sabo as vice president of sales and marketing aligns with our strategic corporate growth strategy,” said Dama Curtright, owner and CEO of Ames Research Laboratories.
Pickett has been a part of executive management in several manufacturing industries for over 35 years, said the firm, including serving in the roles of president, COO and CFO.
Sabo has over 40 years of experience in the coatings industry having worked at some of the world’s largest coatings manufacturers, said the company.
“Both Gary and Carl are seasoned business leaders and have shown the ability to motivate and lead the Ames team into the future,” said Curtright.
Sabo has held numerous positions in marketing, sales and corporate account management, the firm said.
“Gary and I are proud of the legacy of our company,” said Sabo, “and we are excited for what the future holds as we implement strategic initiatives that allow Ames to penetrate new markets and expand upon our global distribution.”
