Ambassador Supply adds leadership

Ambassador Supply has appointed Tim Richards as its new director of post frame construction (PFC) and pole barns.

“Tim will be an integral part of the Steel Vertical team,” said Doug Stephens, president of Ambassador Supply Steel Vertical. “He brings over 30 years of manufacturing experience with a wealth of expertise in plant leadership, sales, quality assurance, and leadership/cultural development.”

In his new role as director of PFC/pole barns, said the Fort Wayne, Indiana-based company, Richards will lead several companies under the Ambassador Supply umbrella toward continued growth and success.

“I’m excited to join Ambassador Supply and work within the Steel Vertical team,” said Richards. “Having spent over three decades in manufacturing, I’m eager to leverage my experience and meaningfully contribute to a company whose values align with mine.”

Richards’ skills led him to serve in instrumental roles at multiple Northeast Indiana companies, with vast experiences as a certified quality assurance technician, production group leader and supervisor, plant manager, operations leader, and director of leadership development.

Ambassador Supply said it continues to experience growth in the pole barn and metal building industry, and the company said it is recruiting driven professionals who thrive in thinking outside the box and have a strong understanding of the industry.

With the company’s recent acquisitions, organic growth, and team solidification, Richards’ leadership experience will make a significant impact on the company’s future, said the firm.
