Altenloh awarded 2023 EcoVadis bronze medal for sustainability
Altenloh, Brinck & Co. US, INC. (ABC US), a division of Altenloh, Brinck & Co. Group, announced the renewal of its EcoVadis bronze medal for Sustainability Management in 2023 by EcoVadis, a globally recognized sustainability provider.
“Achieving the EcoVadis bronze medal for sustainability management and performance for the second time demonstrates our ongoing efforts to integrate sustainability into our core operations at Altenloh, Brinck & Co. US,” said Tim Hogrefe, quality manager.
ABC US and the Altenloh, Brinck & Co. Group is celebrating its 200th anniversary this year. The company is a leading U.S. manufacturer of highly engineered fasteners for use in residential and commercial building material industries under the brand names of SPAX, TRUFAST and TRUFAST Walls.
The Bryan, Ohio-based fastener company said the “EcoVadis scorecard of ABC US provides customers with a transparent, unbiased view of how we are working towards sustainability throughout our business operations while also providing our internal teams with comprehensive feedback, benchmarking and the tools to embark upon a journey of continuous improvement.”

EcoVadis medallions, said the firm, are one of the most competitive sustainability awards to attain. EcoVadis assessments are advanced and elaborate, taking months to complete, with medals awarded to just a small percentage of businesses across 200 industries and 160 countries.
EcoVadis is the world’s most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, intelligence, and collaborative performance improvement tools for global supply chains, said the company.
In its assessment, EcoVadis evaluated the policies, actions, and results of ABC US, confirming the firm’s position among the top 29% of companies in the manufacture of fabricated metal products N.E.C. industry.
