Rising Stars: Melissa Handy

Melissa Handy is the SVP Inventory at Lowe’s, responsible for leading the strategic direction of Lowe’s inventory management and in-store product availability.

She has been in this role since October 2023, and in a short amount of time under her leadership, the retailer has made YOY in-stock improvement.

Melissa has led the expansion of a global operating model for replenishment; modernized systems and processes that drove labor productivity; and delivered inventory productivity during an inflationary timeframe.
