Poll question: Tech and today's store

At industry events, webinars and markets, the state of the industry's technological prowess is often disparaged. The common refrain is: "We're behind other industries and other sectors."

This sentiment has been on display for many years, and lingers.

But is it deserved? The industry has improved in this regard, and it is continually improving, right? 

Sure, there are plenty of clipboards hanging on walls of numerous dispatch offices. There are still managers manually typing data into spread sheets. But there are also some high-tech players using state of the art systems throughout the industry, and among HBSDealer's readership. (Recent examples here and here.)
