Whirlpool and Beazer Homes team up

Benton Harbor, Mich.-based Whirlpool will be the exclusive supplier of energy- and water-efficient appliances for Atlanta-based home builder Beazer Homes.

Beazer will now include Energy Star-qualified Whirlpool dishwashers in all of its homes, and it will also provide home buyers a variety of Whirlpool kitchen appliance brands, including Whirlpool and KitchenAid.

“This partnership leverages technologies and resources from both companies and shows Beazer Homes’ commitment to offering its home buyers sustainable solutions for conserving water and energy through everyday home appliances,” said Kelly Safis, national director of contract sales at Whirlpool. “We look forward to a long, successful working relationship with Beazer Homes.”

The deal also works into Beazer’s SmartDesign initiative to include up to 10 eco-friendly features in every home it builds.
